Quick navigation
1. Stuttering / Jerky Movement
The belt feels jerky or the speed is not smooth
What you may notice: The treadmill feels like it stutters, slips, or runs unevenly.
Try the following checks:
1. Check the incline support
If the incline support is raised to the highest position, a slight stuttering sensation at very low speed can be normal. If your model does not have incline support, ignore this step.
2. Check load, belt tension, lubricant, and voltage
Too much load: The user weight may exceed the treadmill’s maximum load. Standard treadmills are typically rated around 220 lb + 22 lb, depending on the model.
Belt tension: If the running belt is loose, it may slip or feel uneven. Follow the manual or adjustment video to tighten it properly.
Too much lubricant: Excess lubricant under the belt can cause slipping or stuttering, especially right after lubricant was added.
Low household voltage: During peak electricity usage, voltage may drop and the motor may feel weak. Test the treadmill at a different time of day.
If the stuttering is still obvious after these checks, or the belt still will not move, the motor may be faulty. Please contact support for the proper return, exchange, or service process.
2. Running Belt
The running belt is slipping
If you just added lubricant:
Stop adding lubricant. Use a lint-free cloth to absorb excess lubricant from both sides and edges of the belt, then test again.
If you did not add lubricant:
Follow the user manual to tighten the running belt appropriately.
The belt drifts to the left or right
If the belt is centered with no one on it, but shifts while walking or running:
This is usually not a treadmill defect. Check whether the treadmill is level on the floor and whether your walking or running posture is consistent.
If the belt is off-center even with no load:
Refer to the belt alignment adjustment guide and adjust until the belt runs centered.
3. Power & Electrical
The treadmill will not turn on or start
Check in this order:
1. Safety key
Make sure the safety key is seated in the correct position.
2. Power switch indicator light
Check whether the power switch indicator is on.
If the indicator is off:
- Check the power cord for damage.
- If possible, test with another same-type power cord.
- Make sure the power switch is set to “I” / ON.
If the indicator is on:
- Open the unit and check whether the lower controller indicator is on.
- If it is off, the cable from the switch to the lower controller may be loose or faulty.
- If it is on, check the communication line between the lower controller and the console/main board.
If none of the checks above help, please contact support for return or exchange service.
4. Noise
The treadmill is noisy while running
Normal operating sound:
A steady sound from the motor, rollers, or moving parts is normal.
Clicking sound during first use or after storage:
This may happen because the belt stiffens after unboxing or long periods of non-use. Let the treadmill run with no one on it for up to 1 hour. The sound should fade over time.
If the noise is clearly abnormal:
- Make sure all foot pads touch the ground.
- Make sure the upright or quick-release structure is firmly locked.
- Check around the belt and motor cover for debris or rubbing parts.
If the noise continues, record a short video showing where the sound comes from and contact support.
Unusual noise from the motor area
- Remove the motor cover and make sure the running belt is not rubbing against the upper or lower motor cover.
- Check whether the motor is rubbing against the lower cover.
- Make sure wires are not touching the fan.
- Check that nothing inside the motor cover is contacting the flywheel, pulley, or belt.
If the noise comes from the motor itself, the motor may be damaged. Please contact support for return or exchange service.
5. Overheating & Odor
The treadmill feels hot
- If you have a thermometer or temperature gun, measure the temperature. Up to 158°F during operation is generally considered normal.
- Check whether the heat is coming from the running belt/deck or from the motor area.
- Make sure the motor bottom ventilation holes are not blocked.
- If the treadmill is on carpet, raising the incline support may improve airflow if your model supports it.
If the motor cover is extremely hot to the touch, the motor may be abnormal. Please contact support.
There is a strange smell while running
- Make sure there is enough space around the treadmill for ventilation.
- Check whether the running belt is rubbing against side rails, rear cover, or motor covers.
- If it smells like burning from the front motor area and the motor cover is very hot, the motor may be faulty.
If the burning smell continues, stop using the treadmill and contact support for return or exchange service.
6. Error Codes
E01 — loose connection
What it usually means: E01 is usually a wiring or connection issue, often caused by vibration during shipping.
How to fix it:
- Open the control panel.
- Look for any loose connectors.
- Push them back in firmly and tighten if needed.
- Restart the treadmill and check whether the code clears.
If the code does not clear, please contact customer support.
E07 — safety key issue
What it usually means: E07 relates to the safety key. The treadmill may not be sensing it correctly.
- Confirm the red safety clip or cord is attached correctly, then power on again.
- If it is attached correctly, try placing another magnet on the designated safety key sensor area.
- Follow the E07 troubleshooting video guide: Insert link
If E07 remains, contact support to request a replacement safety key if applicable.
E05 — motor or control communication issue
What it usually means: E05 may indicate a motor fault or abnormal communication between the motor and control board.
1. Restart the treadmill
Turn the power off completely. When restarting, do not stand on the belt.
2. Check the running belt
With power off, push the belt forward by hand. It should move smoothly without jamming.
3. Check the motor area
Open the motor cover and remove any debris or obstruction.
If the treadmill and motor area look normal but E05 remains, it is likely a controller or control board issue. Please contact support for replacement parts or after-sales service.
